Where are we located?

The Village Centre in Englefield Green opened in September 2010 and acts as a meeting place, a community café and a source of information for the local community.

Two weekends each month the Child Contact Centre is run at The Village Centre,  on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 2pm – 4pm.

The Village Centre is only used by the Child Contact Centre on these Saturday afternoons. The centre is warm, friendly and welcoming and during contact sessions there is a great atmosphere as our focus is the children having fun. There are different entry/exit points for resident parents and visiting parents/family members.

Local area

During the contact session the resident parent is welcome to stay in the cafe area of The Village Centre or could explore the local area:

  • Egham high street is a 3/4 mile walk away. This is down hill or there is a local bus.
  • Englefield Green has a village green just a few roads away with a small childrens play area or benches around the green to sit on.
  • Windsor Great Park is a 15 minute walk away.

Parking

There is a public car park in the street just a few minutes walk away from The Village Centre.

Public Transport

We are on the main bus route from Egham, Staines and Windsor.

The nearest train station is Egham which is approximately 1 mile away. Note that although a short walking distance of approximately 30 minutes, it is up hill to Englefield Green.
